Kalletal / Heek / Münster, 19 March 2026
Together with Bioenergy Heek-Ahle and the University of Applied Sciences Münster, Biotaktix GmbH has developed a digital logistics system for biogas plants: the “Liefermanager”. The system enables the currently 47 suppliers of the plant to register their substrate quantities digitally in advance – thereby creating a planned delivery logistics for the first time.
The background is a central challenge of the plant: the pre‑digester has only limited capacity. Without coordinated deliveries, bottlenecks quickly arise, while at the same time the substrate streams from over 40 farms must be coordinated.
The “Liefermanager” fully digitizes this process. Suppliers register their planned deliveries via the app – including amount, substrate type, timing and mode of transport.
The system automatically determines the daily available capacities of the pre‑digester and makes them available for booking.
The plant thus receives an early overview of upcoming deliveries and can steer them purposefully. Additionally, features such as delivery confirmations and quantity overviews provide transparency and control.
The Liefermanager is available as a mobile application and can be used by farmers on their own smartphones. By connecting the weighbridge scales, the deliveries can then be recorded automatically and fully digitally.

“Our goal was to make the logistics in a complex communal plant planable – both for the plant and for the individual farmers,” explains Nils Lüpke from Biotaktix. “With the Liefermanager we create transparency and a significantly better coordination along the entire process chain.”
The system was first presented at the Biogas Conference of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture in Verden. There, representatives of Bioenergy Heek-Ahle and FH Münster presented the results and gave insights into the practical implementation.
With the Liefermanager, Biotaktix has developed a tool that for the first time fully digitizes delivery logistics and material flow documentation for biogas plant operators.

The Liefermanager was shown for the first time at the LWK Biogas Conference in Verden.
About Biotaktix
Biotaktix GmbH is a young software company from North Rhine‑Westphalia and develops a practical solution for the digitalisation of biogas plants. The platform supports operators along the entire process chain – from substrate logistics over weighing and feeding to storage management, documentation and analysis.
The goal is to simplify workflows, create transparency and completely replace paper‑based processes. The solution is available as an intuitive app and is developed closely together with plant operators and continuously further refined.
About Bioenergy Heek-Ahle
Bioenergy Heek-Ahle GmbH & Co. KG is a jointly organised biogas plant in Heek, supported by around 45 agricultural enterprises. The project's goal is the sustainable digestion of agricultural fertilizers such as slurry and manure to produce biomethane and CO₂. The plant is characterised by regional value creation, short transport distances and close cooperation among the participating farmers. In addition to plant operation, logistics, nutrient management and continuous development are especially in focus.
About FH Münster
FH Münster is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany and stands for practice‑oriented research and close cooperation with industry and agriculture. Within the project “BNG – Bioenergy re‑thought”, it scientifically supports Bioenergy Heek-Ahle, especially in the areas of logistics, billing systems and substrate assessment. The goal is to develop innovative and practice‑ready solutions for the further development of bioenergy.
