Which scale manufacturers can Biotaktix connect?
Biotaktix works manufacturer‑neutral. We connect with scales of any manufacturer.
What requirements must my vehicle scale meet?
If your weighbridge already has an interface, we can connect it. If you are already using weighing software, this is already the case.
Which interfaces does Biotaktix support?
We support both modern and older weighing electronics:
- Ethernet / TCP or UDP – for modern weighing electronics that communicate via network. This option is common with newer terminals and enables easy integration into existing IT infrastructures.
- RS232 (serial) – for older scales with a classic serial interface. These terminals are still widely used and are fully supported.
Can multiple scales / locations be connected?
Yes, you can connect as many scales as you like to Biotaktix and, for example, use separate entry and exit scales for your yard logistics. You can also, of course, connect multiple scales from different manufacturers.
Does my scale need to be calibrated?
If you use the scale with external business partners for billing purposes, we recommend calibration. Biotaktix works with both calibrated and uncalibrated scales and meets all requirements.
What if I later replace my scale?
Since we are compatible with all weighing electronics, replacing the electronics is no problem. The necessary adjustments can be made via remote maintenance.
